I bought a pair of these in May and lived in the over the summer. I wore them on a couple of extended cycle tours, hiked in them, kayaked and strolled around. They are comfortable and, after a very brief break-in, fit my foot like a glove...um...that is, if a glove were made for my foot and not my hand. Anyways, I put 'em away during the fall and wore them on a recent trip to Thailand. At the end of that three weeks, the sole started separating from the footbed along the little-toe edge. Seemed strange for new sandals, so I figured it was simply a defect. Called Keen, filled in their warranty info, and I've got a brand new pair on the way. Super sandals and super customer service. The only reason I'm not giving these 5 stars is because I don't know if the problem was the result of a defect or workmanship. Plus, Michelin only gives 3 stars for the best chefs in the world, so 4 stars is pretty darn good for a pair and sandals.

    WAY too small

What is this? Look at the picture. If the average difference between shoe sizes is around 1/4 inch then these are at least 2 sizes too small.

This says 8.5 made in Cambodia.

I've owned Keen's since the only one they had was the blue original. I've bought winter boots and shoes, run around shoes and a bunch of Newport's and never a problem. This just screams quality control failure.

    Not happy at all.

Comments about KEEN Men's Clearwater CNX:

Sorry, but thee are not the old Keens. I ordered a pair of Clearwater CNX sandals- the non leather ones. Couldn't wait for them to come. Ordered the exact same size of other similar keens that fit perfectly 11.5. The minute I took these out of the box I noticed they were much lighter- can be a good thing. On the other hand, they are not as strong, wide, supportive or as comfortable as my other keens that I bought at least 3 or 4 years ago. In fact, I had to do all I could to squeeze my feet into these new sandals that are the same size as the ones I bought years ago that fit so well. Even if I send these new ones back and get a size bigger, I don't think they are made as well. The soles of this new sandal is just not as thick and it doesn't mold to my feet as well as my old keens. It's 73 degrees outside. I don't even think these will fit when the temperature soars above 80 and my feet expand. Now I have to decide whether to settle and keep them or send them back. Lastly, I extended the laces on these new sandals as far as I could and they are still too tight. I never had this problem with my old keens. I could wear the old ones barefoot or with socks, even sweat socks. No way can I get these new ones on with sweat socks if I want to. Very disappointed. Summary, not happy with the soles and the length of the laces and the fact they are too narrow.

Comments about KEEN Men's Clearwater CNX:

I bought a pair in May when a similar style generic brand was hurting my feet while walking around touring different cities. My feet felt instantly better. I went from thinking I would need a day to rest to continuing to walk 8-12 miles a day. I didn't wear any other shoes for 5 months and I'm looking forward to getting back to that when Spring hits.

I ordered the Midnight Navy color in 12wide and it was super tight fit. I always order a 12 with no problems but this time I'm not even sure I can wear them.. I've ordered the same sandals in brown twice before from Keen shoes before without a problem but this particular shoe/color Must run small.
