The KEEN team downunder is a proud partner of the Australia Zoo and Wildlife Warriors. KEEN shoes and lunch bags are sold at the Zoo store to fund the care and protection of injured, threatened or endangered wildlife. Further support comes from KEEN donations to Zoo employees and event sponsorship, including Steve Irwin Day. The event not only honors the founder of the Zoo but the conservation work he was passionate about.

After two successful operations the Koala Joey has gained weight and its fur has started to growing back.  WildLife Warriors was established in 2002 by Steve and Terri Irwin, their mission: dedicate all their valuable resources to helping save endangered animals. KEEN Australia’s commitment is just as strong, donating a percentage of KEEN sales to Wildlife Warriors. KEEN Australia donated 500 recycled bags for the Steve Irwin Memorial Gala Dinner, hosting a marquee at the ZOO on 15th November (Steve Irwin Memorial Day) and donated 1200 KEEN lunch bags to the Australia ZOO stores with all proceeds going to Wildlife Warriors.
