Design, at its core, is problem-solving. We are presented with a problem and use our talents to solve it. Design is usually thought of as a profession. However, many designers and creative thinkers are using design-thinking to solve social issues.
On January 26th we hosted Generate: Social Change with the American Institute of Graphic Arts – Portland. The Generate: Social Change event was a panel discussion with 6 panelists coming from varying backgrounds to discuss how they instigated genuine social good.
